365 Project

Yes, I have succumbed to the 365 Project! It's actually something I've been thinking about after following Sakiwaki's photo journey last year. And the truth is, now that I have the iPhone, I've found myself taking many more candid and life photos than I ever had before. In fact, part of what convinced me to do the project was discovering that as of the 6th day of the new year, I already had a number of photos for each day - some from the iPhone, some from the camera.

I waffled a bit before committing, mainly because I didn't want to look like I was copying my friends (Bearclau, Sakiwaki's toy 365) who are doing it as well. But I think it will be a great record of the year, and something to look forward to every day.

So now you all have something to look forward to from me every day, too! I haven't decided if I'm going to put a new picture up every day or just do a weekly roundup, as I still plan on having regular posts as well (whatever "regular" entails on my eccentric site here). I welcome votes/comments/thoughts on the matter. In the meantime, if you'd like to check out what I have so far, you can visit my Flickr set. And fair warning, you're pretty guaranteed to see cats, coffee, and toys - apparently the story of my life!

And since I'm a little behind, here's what I've posted so far (newest to oldest), to catch you up. If you want to see the notes for each, they're on the Flickr pages (click the images).

Can't wait to see more! Are you gonna just take a pic of whatever, or stick with a theme?

Yipeeee!! =D You're not copying off anyone-- the journey has existed way before us, and will continue after us. I'm super glad you're doing it too-- you'd be surprised how many memories I've caught on camera and have been reminded of the highs and lows.

Yay! Gorgeous shots! Love the flower. I'm really happy that so many people are doing the 365 project - so many cool things to see. Like that flower!
